CASCADES / WATERFALLS
Water and gravity - two compelling natural forces existing in perfect harmony. Out of lakes, vistas, summits and all other hike destinations, I love especially the waterfall. Their presence commands the attention of any scene and all else becomes complementary. I love hearing the muted crashing of water announcing their prescence from far uptrail, seeing their grandeur as I approach, then finally getting drenched in mist at the base.
